About the Conference
CIFについて

The 20th Chitose International Forum of Science and Technology (CIF20) will be held on October 14, 2019 at Hotel Grand Terrace Chitose, Hokkaido, Japan.
CIF is the premier conference based on “Smart Nature City Chitose”, the vision of CIST for the contribution to municipal communities and local industries. This year conference consists of two parts.
The first theme of the CIF Session part of the international conference, is “Wisdom of coexistence with nature for a sustainable society (interchange in the northern sphere)”. We will give a session focusing on invited talks by experts and poster presentation. (Mainly in English)
The second part of SNC Session focused on “a sustainable city by resilience design for both the usual and extraordinal situation” for the local resident and industry. We will prepare an opportunity to rethink and discuss the concepts and ideas of community activation. The citizens and business-persons as well as scholars and students interested in this theme are welcome to attend this part. (Free registration, presentations and discussions in Japanese).
Application to the poster session is welcome and is open to a wide field of science and technology concerning materials and devices for information sensing, ICT systems, and their applications.

第20回Chitose International Forum on Science and Technology (CIF20) は来る10月14日（月）にホテルグランテラスで開催されます。
今回はCISTが提唱する地域貢献プログラム「Smart Nature City ちとせ」（以下SNCちとせ）について地域の皆様とともに広く議論を進めていきたいと考え、メインテーマは地域の調和ある発展のキーとなるであろう①持続可能な社会に向けた自然との共生の知恵＜北方圏の交流＞と②命とくらしを守るまちづくり ～“いつもの便利”と“もしもの備え”～といたしました。午前の国際会議CIFセッションでは、テーマ①について、専門家による招待講演を中心としたセッションとポスター発表を行います。午後の講演はテーマ②について、千歳ゆかりの講演者による講演とパネルディスカッションを行います。市民、事業者の皆様の多数の参加をお待ちしています。午前、午後ともに聴講は入場無料です。招待講演者、CIF実行委員も含め参加者の交流のため、懇親会を開催します（有料）。こちらも積極的にご参加ください。
